# AI Review Insights

**About the screenshots in this guide**

Every illustration below comes from a real analysis run inside the tool. We searched *Blockify* and opened *Blockify Fraud Filter, Blocker* (4.9★, 1,505 reviews). The numbers, themes, and quotes you see are this app's live results, so you can match each screen to what you will see on your own.

### **1.** What this tool does

Type the name of any Shopify app, and the tool reads all of its App Store reviews for you. In seconds, you get:

* An **AI summary** of what users think.
* The app's **strengths** and **weaknesses**.
* The **features users ask for most**.
* **Sentiment scores** across 5 areas.
* **Review status tracking** (active / archived / deleted).
* A full, filterable **review list** you can export.

You can analyze your own app or any competitor's app.

### 2. Guest vs free account

You can use the tool as a guest. A free Letsmetrix account unlocks more.

Creating an account is free and takes a moment.

### 3. Step-by-step

#### Step 1: Search for an app

1. Open the **AI Review Insights** page.
2. Click **Analyze Reviews Now**.
3. Type the app name in the search box.
4. A dropdown suggests matching apps, each with its icon, rating, and review count.
5. Click the app you want.

You will see **"App not found"**. You can submit the app name and your email, and we will notify you when it is ready.

#### Step 2: Run the analysis

1. Click **Analyze Reviews**.
2. If the app was analyzed recently, results appear instantly.
3. Otherwise, you will see **"AI is analyzing X reviews..."** for a short moment.

You are then taken to the results page.

#### Step 3: Read the sidebar (left side)

The sidebar shows quick facts about the app:

* **App info:** icon, name, developer, rating, and total review count.
* **Sentiment scores:** five bars from 0 to 10: Support, Ease of Use, Performance, Reliability, and Pricing. Green means strong (7+), amber is average (5–6.9), red is weak (under 5).
* **Change alert:** a banner inviting you to get notified about review changes. If reviews are spiking right now, a red strip shows the topic and how much it has risen.

With a free account, each sentiment score also shows a small arrow (up, down, or flat) comparing it to 30 days ago.

#### Step 4: Read the AI summary

At the top of the main area, the AI gives a short 3–5 sentence overview: the general feeling of users, the biggest strengths, and the common problems. This is the fastest way to understand the app.

#### Step 5: Review strengths and weaknesses

Two side-by-side panels:

* **Strengths** (green, left): the top 5 things users praise.
* **Weaknesses** (red, right): the top 5 things users complain about.

Each item shows a theme, how many reviews mention it, and a sample quote. Weaknesses also carry a **severity badge** (High / Medium / Low). A **Spike** badge appears if a problem is rising quickly.

#### Step 6: See feature requests and action items

* **Feature Requests** (left): the features users ask for most, ordered by demand. Frequently requested ones are tagged.
* **Action Items** (right): clear suggestions on what to fix or build next, based on the weaknesses and requests.

As a guest, you see the top few items; the rest are blurred. Sign up free to see the full lists.

#### Step 7: Check review status tracking

This section shows how the app's reviews change over time. It is open to everyone:

* **Four cards:** Total, Active, Archived, and Deleted reviews.
* **Status distribution:** the share of active, archived, and deleted reviews.
* **Weekly activity:** an 8-week chart. Unusual weeks are highlighted.
* **Status transitions:** how reviews moved between states (for example, active → deleted).
* **Rating × status table:** which star ratings are most often deleted.

Use the tabs **(30 Days / 90 Days / All Time)** to change the time range. With a free account, you also see the **"+N this week"** changes.

#### Step 8: Browse the review list

A full list of reviews, with rating, text, reviewer, country, and date. You can:

* **Filter** by rating, status, or date.
* **Sort** by most recent or by rating.
* See **auto-tags** on each review (for example, support praise, bug report, pricing concern).
* **Export to Excel** - available with a free account.

Reviews are shown 10 per page.

#### Step 9: Turn on negative review alerts

This is the easiest way to stay ahead of problems. It needs a free account.

1. Click **Get Notified** in the sidebar.
2. If you are signed in, confirm in the small window. Alerts turn on for this app.
3. If you are a guest, you will be asked to create a free account first. Alerts then turn on automatically for the app you were viewing.

After that, the system checks the app every day. If negative reviews spike, you get an email alert with the topic, severity, and a link to the details. You can turn alerts off any time.

#### Step 10: Analyze another app

* Use the **search bar at the top** of the results page to analyze a new app without going back.
* Click **"Track this app on Letsmetrix"** to follow the app over time in your Letsmetrix dashboard.

### 4. Understanding the scores and labels

**Sentiment scores (0–10):** how users feel about Support, Ease of Use, Performance, Reliability, and Pricing. Higher is better. A dash (—) means there were not enough reviews to score that area.

**Severity badge** (on weaknesses): how widespread a problem is. High means many reviews mention it; Low means only a few.

**Spike**: when a topic is mentioned far more this week than last week (a sharp jump). It signals a sudden problem worth attention.

**Review status:** *Active* reviews are public, *Archived* are hidden, *Deleted* are removed. A high number of deleted negative reviews can be a warning sign.

### 5. What a free account unlocks

Creating a free account adds:

* The full feature request and action item lists.
* 30-day trend arrows on scores and themes.
* Excel export of reviews.
* Email alerts when negative reviews spike.
