# New Users

### How we get these data

New Users data is collected from Shopify API App Events and processed to support clear decision-making.

### Understand the dashboard

New Users are the total number of **unique shops** that have installed the application for the first time, and the time from installation to the reporting moment does not exceed 30 days.

* Shops installed for over 30 days will no longer be counted as New Users but only as Active Users.
* Shops that uninstalled and re-installed will be calculated based on the original installation date in the past (they are not reset to New User status if the first installation was over 30 days ago).

### How New Users data can benefit you

* **Assess Onboarding Effectiveness:** By monitoring new user trends, you can measure the performance of the critical first 30 days for converting customers from Free to Paid. A high volume of new users signals both a significant opportunity and a need to ensure your Support/Success teams are prepared to guide them effectively.
* **Optimize Acquisition & User Quality:** Identifying your peak acquisition days and analyzing the quality of incoming users allows you to optimize your marketing channels and timing. By comparing the behavior of new users (<=30 days) with your established user base (>30 days), you can quickly assess if new users face any specific difficulties.
* **Analyze Plan Performance:** The plan breakdown provides a clear view of which subscription tiers are most popular among new users, helping you assess pricing effectiveness and understand what drives early revenue.
