🛠️Connect Shopify API
To unlock deeper analytics on your app's performance, you'll need to connect your Shopify Partner account to Letsmetrix.
This process involves three main parts: getting your Partner API, finding the App GID for each of your apps, and then connecting them to our system.
Step 1: Open Connect Shopify API window from Letsmetrix
Go to https://letsmetrix.com/, and sign in. Click on your account name in the top right corner, and from the dropdown menu, select My Partners, and then click Sync Partner Data button.
This will open the Add App ID from partner window. Then, click the "+" button.
Now the Connect Shopify API window is open.
Step 2: Get Your Partner ID
You can find your Partner ID using one of two methods:
From the URL: After logging into your Shopify Partner Dashboard, your unique 7-digit Partner ID is visible in the URL search bar. For example: https://partners.shopify.com/1234567/.
From Settings: Navigate to the Settings page in your Partner Dashboard and find it in the Account information section.
Step 3: Get Your API Key
From your Partner Dashboard, go to the Settings page and find the Partner API clients section. Click Manage Partner API clients.
If you don't have an API client yet, click Create API client.
Grant the following permissions to allow Letsmetrix to sync your data:
View financials
Manage apps
Manage themes
Click Save on the top right corner to create the API client.
After the API client is created, you will find the Access token in the Credentials section. Click the symbol to copy this token, as it will serve as your API key.
Step 4: Paste Partner ID and API Key in Letsmetrix
Return to the Letsmetrix window you opened in Step 1. Paste the Partner ID and API Key (Access Token) into the corresponding fields and click Connect Shopify API.
Your Shopify Partner account is now connected. Next, add the App GID for each app you want to track.
Step 5: Get Your App GID
Return to the Add App ID from partner window after you have connected Shopify API.
From your Partner Dashboard, navigate to the App distribution section in the left-hand menu. Click All apps. From the list, find and click on the specific app you wish to connect.
Look at the URL in your browser's address bar. The App GID is the set of numbers immediately following /apps/:
For example, in the URL https://partners.shopify.com/1234567/apps/7891011/overview, the App GID is 7891011.
Step 6: Fill App GID in Letsmetrix
Return to the Letsmetrix window you opened in Step 1 and paste the App GID you found in the previous section. Click Add.
After you add the app, the partner data will be synced and appear in your Letsmetrix dashboards.
