The main table on this dashboard breaks down user churn and reinstall activities based on the time between their initial install and their churn/reinstall event.

Churn

Value

The total number of users who uninstalled the app within a specific time range after installing (e.g., Same day, 1-14 days). This helps you identify the most critical periods in your user journey where churn is highest.

Avg Time

The average duration these users actively used the app before they uninstalled. This metric provides insight into user engagement depth, helping you understand how long users typically interact with your app before they decide to leave.

Reinstall

Value

The total number of users who reinstalled the app within a specific time range after their previous uninstall. This is a direct measure of your ability to bring churned users back.

Avg Time

The average time it took for these users to reinstall the app from their most recent uninstall date. This metric quantifies your regain speed, showing how long it typically takes for a churned user to recognize your app's value again.

Diff

The duration a user uses the app before they uninstall it.

How to use the feature

You can drill down into the data to get more detailed reports.

a) Analyzing Churn etails

  1. In the Churn column, click on any numerical value.

  2. A detailed report will pop up, showing you the specific stores that churned within that period. It includes details like Shopify Domain, Name, Diff, Install time, Uninstall time, and the Reason for uninstallation (if available).

b) Analyzing Reinstall details

  1. In the Reinstall column, click on any numerical value to see a list of stores that reinstalled, showing their Shopify Domain, Name, Active status and Total number reinstallations of the shop.

  1. To see the full lifecycle of a specific reinstall session, click the "+" icon next to a store's name. This will expand a detailed view showing the Name App, My Shopify Domain, Name, initial Install and Uninstall times, Diff, and Reason for each churn.
